Institute, Google mount Internet marketing conference The conference is designed
to help Israeli exporters optimize the Internet as a marketing tool The
Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute, in cooperation with Google
Israel will hold Israel's first international Internet marketing conference in
Tel Aviv on September 13. Attending the conference will be Minister of Industry,
Trade and Labor Eli Yishai, Export Institute chairman David Arzi, Google Israel
country manager Meir Brand, Export Institute director Yechiel Assia, and Google
head of B2B Vertical Markets Russ Cohn. The conference is designed to help
Israeli exporters optimize the Internet as a marketing tool. Also attending the
conference will be Microsoft Israel founder and former managing director professor
Arie Scope, who will chair a panel on "Micro-advertising trends in web-based
marketing." Taking part in the panel will be Lightspeed-Gemini Internet Lab
general manager Ouriel Ohayon, and Babylon VP sales and marketing Alon Carmeli. E.Toby & Co CEO Eliron Toby, an Internet marketing
expert will speak on Internet marketing in 2010, and Compucall Web Marketing CEO
Ophir Cohen will speak on Internet marketing in the Web 2.0 era. Assia said,
"Internet marketing is gaining momentum, as further developments take place
in the global market. The Export Institute has set itself the goal of being the
standard bearer for exporters who use the Internet as a strategic marketing tool.
The world, and especially the US and Europe, has long since realized that the
Internet is the ultimate marketing tool through which to reach focused target
